today was good, for whatever reason. i just kind of took the car for the day and drove around. it took me an age to actually wake up, i was kind of in disbelief that it looked like rain because i had originally made outside plans. mimi called, i had to take her a bathing suit. she gave half-asleep me a detailed description and i pretended like i knew what she was talking about, grabbed the first one i saw, and met her and her posse at wawa. on the way i started listening to the new episode of this american life which is actually why i'm starting this. i came home real fast before going to the kalmbach's, whose house we are sitting. i scrubbed down their pool.
i like housesitting, it's kind of like pretend. for me, anyway. so i went back home because i was anxious about all this cleaning i wanted to get done. taylor invited me to see the yeah yeah yeahs because she loves my good company and i said yes but my mom said no no no. i had an impulse to go to borders, so i did. anna, the super pretty fair skinned cashier was so so so sadly absent. so i got some stuff.
then i got my haircut.
tomorrow i'm going to see rufus wainwright at the mann with my aunt sheila, can't wait, and i also just found out man man is playing a free show in rittenhouse square next wednesday. fuck. yes.
